Amy graduated from Samford University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts followed by a Master of Public Administration from Auburn University in 2022. While at Auburn, she served in various departments on campus as a Graduate Assistant and then worked at the Montgomery Area Food Bank for a short time after graduation.
